Okapi's Sunset *

Dahlia Okapi's Sunset is an amazing dahlia in terms of colour. Its name was certainly well chosen. The yellow, orange and salmon hues – the colours of a sunset in late summer – of Okapi’s Sunset blend into one another. The elegant way in which the petals curl is typical of this type of dahlia, which is referred to as a ‘semi-cactus’. Okapi’s Sunset is an asset to every border and, because of its three colours, an easy match with many other flowering plants. This plant can grow up to at least one metre in height, so it is best planted towards the back of a border.
